Forward in the Fall

This fall Forward Ministries is dedicated to developing home groups (to learn more about home groups see the "Forward Home Groups" posting below). In an effort to focus on home groups and ways these groups can effectively change our community, Forward Ministries will not be doing a fall series (as previously planned).

We strongly believe that God can use small groups of people, who have built friendships with each other in their homes, to change our community in a big way. People in our community desperately need God. We must show people in our community God through our love for them. Love shows people God, and it is God who shows people love. Each home group will begin by making a difference in the people in the home group's lives. But, very quickly the home group will begin to plan activities that can make a difference in a larger group of people's lives (e.g. through feeding or clothing the homeless, or helping a group of oppressed people be recognized and have a "voice"). Forward Ministries will also be creating a network among the home groups that will enable them to pray for each other, help each other, and plan activities that make a difference in our community and around the world on a larger scale.

Join us in this effort to change our community, one small group of people meeting in a home at a time. Join the God of community, of the oppressed, and of love. Join a home group and make a difference in our world.
